Here are some of the artists whose voices have been amplified through their work at Monday Pictures.
SHINCY LU / PRODUCER, DIRECTOR
Born and raised in Canton, China, Shincy Lu graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a major in Economics and minors in Film, Television and Digital Media as well as Cognitive Science. She later received a MFA degree in producing from the prestigious American Film Institute Conservatory.
She strives to create new visual languages and unique perspectives, and is particularly excited about shooting in celluloid. She now resides in Los Angeles.
Shincy is now the executive producer at Monday Pictures in Los Angeles and 一炉影业(YiLu Pictures) in Guangzhou, China.
SHU ZHU / DIRECTOR
Shu is a recent graduate from American Film Institute’s Directing Program and holds a BFA from NYU in Film and TV Production.
The films Shu’s directed/produced have been showcased at festivals around the world, such as New York City Independent Film Festival, NewFilmmaker New York, China Independent Film Festival, Asian American International Film Festival, among others.
HAO ZHENG / DIRECTOR
Hao Zheng is a recent Student Academy Award winning director with a BFA degree in Film Production from Emerson College and a MFA degree in Directing from the American Film Institute. Hao has worked extensively as an actor in popular Chinese films and television series and has directed films with international recognition including Best International Film Award at Show Me Shorts (New Zealand), AT&T Film Award, Nowness Awards, Short Shorts Tokyo, Interfilm Berlin among more than 50 other film festivals.

GUANGWEI DU / EDITOR
Born and raised in Beijing, Guangwei is a recent graduate from American Film Institute’s Editing program and holds a BA from the Communication University of China in Film Directing and Editing.
The films Guangwei has edited have been showcased at numerous festivals around the world, including Shanghai International Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival, Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, Bermuda International Film Festival, Anonimul Int'l Independent Film Festival, and China Short Film Academy Award.
ADAM LEENE / CINEMATOGRAPHER
Adam Leene is a cinematographer whose work is driven by emotion and story. He received his MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute. His most recent narrative short Child had its premiere at AFI Fest, and was nominated for Best Short Film at BFI Fest. Adam recently shot his second narrative feature, and continues to focus his creative energy on long-form narrative projects and artistic commercial content.

ZILONG LIU / CINEMATOGRAPHER
Spending most his time in China and US. Zilong developed his unique sense of visual storytelling. His work reveals the human life and emotion in an exceptionally organic and genuine way.
Graduated from American Film Institute cinematography discipline, Zilong has shot varies projects from shorts, music video, commercial to TV series and Feature film. His thesis film, ‘Tree#3‘was nominated for best comedy in 39th College Television Awards.

YUELIN ZHAO / PRODUCTION DESIGNER
Yuelin (Jolene) Zhao is a LA based production designer originally from Beijing, China. She received her undergraduate degree at University of California San Diego majored in Visual Arts Media, and then received her MFA Film Production degree at University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. As of now, Jolene's narrative works have been awarded and nominated at film festivals including Sundance, Slamdance, Tribeca and Shanghai International Film Festival. Her works are streaming on platforms including Disney +, Amazon Prime, Vimeo On Demand and Omeleto.
Jolene also has extensive experience in commercial productions. She has worked with clients such as Tesla, Jubilee Media, Moonbug Entertainment, LAVA Music, Lilith Games and Xiaomi.
